I love anime and everything.. I'm willing to as far to say as I'm an "otaku" but NO this just isn't what GW's about (them putting in glasses and shit was already too weird for me... although those chaos gloves sure are cool)...

Oh man, the little girls/otaku freaks/furries wouldn't ever take them off. I guess they'd be pretty good indicators for who not to take into Abbadon's Mouth, though.

I guess it could be a cool addition but I probably wouldn't ever use it. As long as in GW2 I can play a charr and eat people who wear cat ears, then maybe..just maybe I would sign it.

ok let me first point this out, THE WALL IS ALREADY BROKEN WITH GW THE FANTASY REALM IS SHATTERED.

next let me point this out.... CAT EARS IS NOT AN ANIME THING, so all those people who are saying that shut up already, first of all hundreds of cultures have worshiped cats, be it large cats *tigers lion ect* or small cats, like the Egyptians for one. there has also been a large bit or lore surrounding cat people, dog people, fox people, and wolf people *werewolves anyone* from many MANY a culture.

and my final point is the reason i originally /signed this, and something i hope to god anet takes into account with gw2. now i want you all to go into a town, any town with people who can afford any armor they want, take a good look around. you will see EVERYONE IS WEARING THE SAME SHIT. lol i mean come on, all male warriors have primeval dyed black of course, all eles have ancient armor and glasses ECT ECT ECT. and that is because there are few good options in GW. there is the one good looking set that everyone gets.

what i want more than anything else is more options on gear so that you cna make your character look how you like, if someone wants to run around in a pink bunny suit more power to them, it would break the monotony and make a much more diverse environment to play in. it would also allow you to set yourself apart from others. so that you can really tailor your character to look how you want and not see an exact copy of your char running around *this has happened to me*

i want diversity. cause if if you think someone looks retarded you laugh and move on, thats how it is IRL and how it should be for gw.

ok i think im done ranting for now.....

Willing to bet if the original idea was for Vampire fangs, skull helmets with huge teeth framing the face etc etc it would have been signed by many who have not signed this.

Its not the idea of going around wearing stupid masks helms ears etc its the cute aspect of it.
Which is a shame to deny players the right to be cute while reserving the right to look really scary.

I won't lie, even know it would make all the Anime freaks cream themselves I would not mind it, I think my Ranger would actually look cool with them, although it is very unrealistic and will never ever happen in GW, still would be cool.

Find me one picture of someone with cat//bunny ears that

A) Is not animé.
B) Is not a a photo of some white kid who loves animé.
C) Is even remotely fantasy, and neither of the above.

WORSHIPPING AN ANIMAL DOES NOT PROVOKE A CULTURE TO WEAR BUNNY EARS FFS! Show me one SERIOUS individual from one of these cultures that is wearing fuzzy bunny ears. Just one.

The fantasy realm hasn't been shattered. Holiday celebrations have been around for a while...they just gave us a modernized version of something OLD. It would be ENTIRELY DIFFERENT to give us something that's completely new, and has no ancient cultural basis whatsoever.

Mark my words: if this were to ever become a reality, GW would lose a very very very large portion of its playerbase. Wintersday and Halloween were already getting complaints from purists...this would seal the deal and they'd leave. I like Wintersday and Halloween, and I'd leave. I know of quite a few others who would leave as well...namely my entire guild.
